Chris had never been to a hockey game before. Usually he was too busy watching pokemon matches on the TV, but a hockey team had given free tickets out to random buyers at the Taco Bell. Being one of the lucky contestants, Chris had won a free premium seat at the Snowpoint gym's hockey arena. It was a long way up to Snowpoint for him, but the boat ride up there was more than fun. Many trainers who wanted to challenge the gym were on the boat and practicing, giving free entertainment to all those there to watch.
"Brrr!" Chris said with the chill instantly reddening his nose "I need a bigger coat!" He stepped onto the dock with his bags and proceeded to go go the pokemon center. He saw many eager trainers rushing off to the gym, but by the time he made it to the center many of them started returning with defeated pokemon. They were good from what he saw on the boat, but apparently the gym leader was better.
"Can you believe her!?" one of the trainers said "Why would a gym leader be closing her gym for an entire day with this many
trainers wanting to battle her!?"
"I heard she's training a new pokemon tomorrow" another said within the group "I guess gym leaders need time to get their new pokemon ready as well"
"Still" the first one said again "It's kind of selfish"
Chris heard them talk and complain for a few hours, they were pretty entertaining and eventually talked about pokemon strategies and many other things, but he eventually had to leave for the gym himself. The hockey game was about to start.
As he walked into the gym he found what looked like to be an icy stadium where one would play hockey, but it seemed to have large icy rocks scattered around the field and there was no seating for any event.
"Weird, maybe they'll clear the rocks or something before the game starts" Chris said out loud. "I'm probably early or something"
"Oh you're right on time!" an overenthusiastic teenage girls voice boomed "I'm so glad you could make it!"
"Make it? where's the hockey game?" Chris asked very confused "Am i in the wrong..." He was interrupted by a very cold sensation quickly spreading from his socks and up his legs. "What the?" he looked down to see dark purple ice quickly crawling up his body "What's going on!?"
The mysterious feminine voice just giggled as she watched what was going on. The figure standing in the purple ice was slowly swallowed by its cold touch, and just a few moments after it started to quickly melt away. The figure that emerged from the ice was... a lot smaller than it originally was.
"S-sneasel!?"<W-what the!?> the very confused pokemon stammered
"Hehehe!" she giggled once again "You're SO cute! I'm Candice by the way, your new trainer. You'll be training to become one of the best gym pokemon here! Hehe, i might even make you evolve when you're strong enough!"
"Sneasel???" <What???> "Snea-Sneasel Snea!!" <I'm so confused, am i dreaming!?>
"Hehe! You're so cute! cmon, i'll get you started with the basics!" she said as she carried off the new ice pokemon to the training area.

Snowlit Fates (sneasel tf)
The cold freezing winds of the mountain valley beat down on the lone figure, plodding their way through the thick blanket of snow and drifting white dunes. Struggling through the cold and deep snows, breath staining the air with heavy mist, the stranger struggled onwards. In the distance was a treeline, cliffs, a small chance of shelter from an unforgiving environment. The strange pulled back their hood, wiping frozen bits from the edges, long brown hair catching the wintery wind, the moonlight reflecting off jade green eyes of a downtrodden lady.
Her footsteps were labored and heavy, struggling to find each footfall but holding some sens

Michael was enjooying a nice, relaxing time in the local forest. The bright hot sun was beating down on him, as it was a scorching summer day in August. Luckily though, the shades of the many trees around him helped kept him cool. He sported short black hair, smooth black eyes and vibrant blue clothing. He preferred sandals over sneakers since it was summertime. He loved to play with the forest pokemon, they were so nice to him and friendly.
except for a certain trio, three mischievous little Pokémon that are always known for pulling pranks. A sneasel, a houndour, and a Stunky. They were huddled over beside a bush, a few yards away from

Water began filling up the room, Rodger climbing the ladder to the ledge above. His clothes were now soaked in the polluted water, as well as water in his lungs. He could only imagine what foulness the water contained. Rodger reached the ledge, but his 6'7 body forced him to kneel onto the cold metal ground.
He saw he had a good ten minutes before he had to move again, taking this time to rest until the water reached him once again. He suddenly began to feel dizzy and uneasy. Rodger just thought it was the polluted water messing with his mind. Suddenly, Rodger felt an intense pain strike his body like a charging bull, as he yel

"Blue 42" was the challenge in question (and inputting 'teal' for the shade of blue for the runner-up)
so here were the hidden rules:
Color: (blue/teal) find this color on a pokemon and tf the fastest person into it. (teal = sneasel, tfing into one)
number between 11 and 99: (42) multiply times 10 for the minimum amount of words you can have in the story. (420 words minimum)
was a fun challenge i was able to do. Maybe i'll do it again soon, i'm trying to get back into the habbit of writing stories.
